This grade is our highest purity and is designed to meet the stringent demands of customers in chemical and metal processing applications and the electronics industry. In the chemical industry, hydrogen peroxide plays a major role part in the production of both inorganic and organic products. Examples include the manufacturing of percarbonates, perborate, a wide variety of organic peroxides and propylene oxide. Hydrogen peroxide is a mainstay in surface treatment within the metals and electronics industry; it is used for etching, polishing and cleaning, plus it eliminates nitrogen oxide gases (NOx) in connection with nitric acid-based pickling operations. Hydrogen peroxide is also used as a reducing agent in the production of chlorine dioxide – a bleaching agent used in the pulp industry.

Market Segments

Personal care

Detailed description

Hydrogen peroxide is a clear, colorless liquid. It is used solely in the form of an aqueous solution and can be mixed with water in any proportions. Chemical Grade (denoted by the C in the product name) Hydrogen Peroxide is specially formulated with a proprietary tin-free stabilizer system for enhanced stability under long-term bulk storage conditions. Stringent specifications are met for this grade as demanded by its various industrial applications. The chemical is odorless at low concentrations. At high concentrations it has a slightly pungent smell.
